iPhone 5 iOS 6 Untethered Jailbreak By Evad3rs The Only Trusted Way
Some of the biggest names associated with jailbreaking who are working on the jailbreak for iOS 6 have got together to form a new Dev Team with the name of Evad3rs.
iPhone 5 iOS 6 untethered jailbreak hopes rest on the Evad3rs
@MuscleNerd, @pod2g, @Planetbeing and @pimskeks are all now members of the newly founded Evad3rs. The group officially brings together some of the largest names behind the jailbreak for iOS 6, some of which have been working together already.
The group was part of the Dream Team of developers who brought out the jailbreak for the iPhone 4S last year. The team will not be taking donations for the jailbreak for iOS 6.
The group have a Twitter account under the name of @evad3rs and this is thought to be where they will reveal the untethered jailbreak for iOS 6. They said through Twitter:
“We (+ @musclenerd @planetbeing @pimskeks) are the @evad3rs. We don’t take any donations ATM, please don’t be fooled at donating to others.”
The group are the ones responsible for the majority of photos that have been seen of the iPhone 5 jailbreak, along with showing it on the Apple iPad 4 and the Apple iPad Mini real devices.
Teamwork is essential for those who are looking for a jailbreak. @pod2g and @planetbeing have been working side by side since January following the release of his app for the iPad.
Over the past few weeks we have heard news that thanks to teamwork they have created a bright future for jailbreaking and have made progress with the iOS 6 jailbreak. Working just one week on it the Evad3rs team have found new vulnerabilities in iOS 6 and there has been some great progress made. Planetbeing said that when testing the vulnerabilities he had found another one and this would replace an exploit the team had wanted to save for jailbreaks in the future.
The team may be launching their own website along with the untethered jailbreak at some point in the near future. The last jailbreak to come from the Chronic Dev Team was Absinthe, while older devices, along with the Apple iPhone 4 can be jailbroken with RedSn0w.
The iOS 6 jailbreak from Evad3rs will be an untethered jailbreak, which has been seen working on the Apple iPhone 5.
At the moment we don’t know when the release of the jailbreak for iOS 6 will take place. The team are waiting for the release of iOS 6.1 before the reveal the jailbreak. It is also unclear if the iOS 6 jailbreak will work for the version of iOS 6 that are on the Apple iPhone 5 along with the iPad 4, which happen to be minor iOS 6.0.2 and iOS 6.0.1 versions, or if it will be the full release for iOS 6.1.
The last update did say that iOS 6.1 broke some of the Apple iPhone 5 jailbreak, however the team may have figured a way around this, which would mean that users would be able to jailbreak the Apple iPhone 5 and iPad on the current version of iOS. For now you may want to refrain from upgrading to iOS 6.1 in case the jailbreak will only work with iOS 6.
