Facebook invite sparks rumours of mobile phone

Facebook, led by Mark Zuckerberg, hopes the new facilities will be used 'to share lecture notes, sports schedules or class assignments' 

Facebook has issued invites for an event at its California headquarters next week, stirring rumours that the social network is planning its own mobile phone.
