Musharraf suffering from artery blockage, mental stress
ISLAMABAD: Former President General (retd) Pervez Musharraf is suffering from nine medical conditions, according to the medical report presented before the special court.
The medical report obtained by Geo News states that Musharraf is suffering from calcium deposition is his coronary artery, mental stress, frozen shoulder, excess of cholesterol in bloodstream, prostrate enlargement, spinal and bone pain.
Earlier on Tuesday, former president Pervez Musharraf’s medical report was presented in a sealed envelope before the special court bench hearing the retired General's high treason case.
The medical report from the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC) had been summoned by the court during proceedings on Monday.
Upon receiving the medical report, the bench ordered the prosecution and defence counsels to study the reports and present their arguments at the next hearing while the bench will deliver its verdict on Thursday.
The former president was also given two days exemption from appearing before the court.
