Malala invited to visit Queen Elizabeth

LONDON : Pakistani teenager Malala Yousufzai who was targeted by the Taliban last year has been invited by Queen Elizabeth II after the monarch was impressed by the young girls bravery.

The young Pakistani has been invited to visit Buckingham Palace on the 18th of October where she will be hosted by the queen and her husband, Prince Philip.

Malala Yousufzai is among the favourites to win the Nobel Peace Prize which will be announced on Friday 11th October. Other hopefuls include Colombian President Jose Manuel Santos and Burma's reformist President Thein Sein among others.
